Ubuntu 14.04 install Android Studio 1.0 with ERROR: 32-bit Linux Android emulator binaries are DEPRECATED

當你嘗試在 Ubuntu 底下執行 Android Studio 上剛寫好的 APP 時，你可能會在 Android Studio 下方的訊息視窗發現以下內容：

ERROR: 32-bit Linux Android emulator binaries are DEPRECATED, to use them
you will have to do at least one of the following:

- Use the '-force-32bit' option when invoking 'emulator'.
- Set ANDROID_EMULATOR_FORCE_32BIT to 'true' in your environment.

Either one will allow you to use the 32-bit binaries, but please be aware that these will disappear in a future Android SDK release.Consider moving to a 64-bit Linux system before that happens.


 這段內容指出你的 Android Studio 虛擬器 (emulator) 沒有正確執行，因為相關的 32 bit 指令沒有正確連結，因此無法啟動。在錯誤訊息處已經有提示你要如何排除這樣的狀況（黃色訊息處）。


由於第一行方法我尚未在 Android Studio 環境下執行過，因此在這僅提供第二行方法的操作步驟，詳見如下：

1. 請開啟 terminal 並輸入： gedit ./profile
    (如果慣用 Vim 編輯者，也可以改以 Vim 開啟編輯)

2. 開啟 profile 後，請捲至最下方後，貼上：ANDROID_EMULATOR_FORCE_32BIT =true
    在儲存後關閉，並重新登入一次系統即可。

3. 重新開啟 Android Studio ，並執行剛剛無法正常運作的 APP 與 emulator ，此時即可正常運
    作了！現在就可以快快樂樂寫 APP 囉！

Ubuntu 14.04 安裝 JDK 7

2014年 12/9  這天 Android Studio 1.0 終於釋出，此一版本改善了之前 Beta 版的 Android Studio 許多細節，而且 Eclipse 上的 ADT 也將停止開發。言下之意，Google 希望 Android 開發者都能轉換到 Android Studio 底下，如同 iOS 的 Xcode 開發平台一樣，可將開發工具的破碎化降至最低。

當下載好 Android Studio 後，如果解壓縮後在 /bin 資料夾無法執行 ./studio.sh，多半是因為 Ubuntu 尚未安裝 JDK 套件，依照 Android 官方頁面建議，需安裝 JDK 7 ，因此請打開終端機，輸入以下指令進行 JDK 安裝：

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java 

sudo apt-get update 

sudo apt-get install oracle-java7-installer

當 JDK 安裝完畢後，請輸入：
javac -version

若 JDK 有正確安裝，終端機將顯示：
javac 1.8.0_25

JDK  安裝完成後，就可在終端機下切換至解壓縮後的 Android Studio 下的 /bin 資料夾執行 ./studio.sh 便可開始進行安裝 Android Studio ，接著就可以開始快樂使用 Android Studio 寫 APP 囉！

How to customization your music for Nexus 5 ringtones , 如何將你的音樂設定為 Nexus 5 鈴聲

Hey guys,

Did you know how to setting the music on Nexus 5 to be your customize ringtone ? It is really easy !
You  just need to following these steps , and it will be successful to setting the music as your ringtone.


Step  1: Plug your Nexus 5 on PC via USB cable
Plug  Nexus 5 to PC and you'll see  Nexus 5 will showing up in PC file manager as an storage device.

Step 2 : Open the Nexus 5 folder in PC file manager
While you open the folder , you just need to search a folder named  " ringtones ".

Step 3 : Change the music extension
Now we're going to change the music extension , so that Nexus 5 can know the file can be install and read, then you can pick up your favorite music now and rename the file extension.

For example : Firework.mp3  , and rename the music as : Firework.ogg

Step 4 : Copy the music to Nexus 5
Then the last thing we need to do is to copy the music  we just rename as .ogg , and put it into Nexus 5 " ringtones " folder , done !!

第一步：將你的 Nexus 5 用 USB 線連接到電腦
當你把 Nexus 5 連接到電腦後，你可以在電腦的檔案管理員中看到 Nexus 5 的被當作一個儲存裝置。


第二步：在檔案管理員中打開 Nexus 5 的資料夾
打開 Nexus 5 資料夾後，你需要找尋一個名為 " ringtones " 的資料夾


第三步：改變音樂副檔名
為了能讓  Nexus 5 能順利的儲存並讀取你的音樂，你必須要更改音樂的副檔名。現在你可以挑選你喜愛的音樂，並更改副檔名囉。

例如：Firework.mp3 ，請改為：Firework.ogg


第四步：複製音樂到 Nexus 5 
我們所要作的最後一個步驟，就是將我們剛剛所儲存的 .ogg 音樂複製到 Nexus 5 的

Android Phone LG G2 knock-on bug

If you have an Android phone G2  from LG , maybe you will like the new feature " knock-on". To turn on your mobile screen, knock the screen twice in a very short time, then the screen will be turn on immediately. If you don't like this setting , you can also choose to press the power button to turn on the screen. Knock-on is not only for " turn on " the screen , you can also knock the screen twice to "turn off" your mobile screen.

But sometimes you will find out  knock-on doesn't work.You just can see the LED flash , and nothing happened on the screen , it still tun off. This is "knock-on" bug , and we can't fix it ourselves. We find two methods to force the screen turn on. This is only temporary methods, we hope LG can fix this bug as soon as possible.


Here's the methods :

1. Press the power button
Press the power button untill  mobile screen pop-up power management options, then choose reboot your mobile, and done !

2. Calling your mobile
If method 1 doesn't work , you have another choose. Just need to find a phone and call your mobile, that's it !  It sounds a little bit stupid, it's really work !


We can use these methods to avoid the screen turn on problem, it's really a bug about G2 knock-on. What we can do now is to pray and wait that LG will fix immediately. Maybe this bug will be fixed in next coming upgrade.
